MC52iT: power during GSM transmission and kit acceptance
The terminal starts, the program receives a response to the AT command, but the intended exchange has not yet been verified. For the purchase of a replacement is not enough: communication with the computer in simple and the work of the GSM transmitter create different conditions. If the device restarts or the exchange is interrupted during transmission, power supply becomes one of the verification directions. This does not mean that any such failure is caused by the power supply unit: the network, operator service, antenna, and application also require consideration.
What changes in transmission
Cinterion MC52i Terminal Hardware Interface Description version 01.201a separately describes peak consumption during active transmission and power supply drawdown limitations. Therefore, the performance of the kit cannot be justified only by medium current in anticipation. This documentation relates to the described Terminal and the applicable hardware version; the parameters of the internal module and other terminal are not substituted for it.
The same inscription on the adapter is not the whole choice
When coordinating the source, its configuration, allowable load, connection and cable to the terminal are taken into account. The lettering about the output voltage does not itself describe the behavior of the entire kit during transmission. Therefore, an existing adapter can only be left after checking its suitability for the desired mode. The purchase of a new unit is not automatically assigned, and a similar connector does not serve as proof of compatibility.
How to formulate acceptance
Separate the two results. The first is that the terminal is switched on and exchanged commands with the program. The second is that the agreed kit works under the intended transmission operation under the conditions of your installation. The quotation should record both results, the source used and the composition of the cables. The general phrase “modem worker” is otherwise easy to understand in different ways.
Verification is carried out according to the applicable documentation and agreed process. This article does not specify the connector soldering, the launch lintel, or the protection rework. If there are failures, save information about the mode and the moment of their occurrence: when starting, waiting or transmitting. Such information helps to discuss a specific set, without replacing a full diagnosis with one guess.
What's in the kit request
Send the MC52iT marking, information about the available adapter and cable, installation conditions and transmission task. Specify if only a terminal is required to replace an existing or complete power supply and connection package. The necessary accessories are listed in one sheet; a photograph of the device does not automatically confirm their presence in the box. Price, condition, documents, availability and term refer to the selected composition.
MC52iT is a GSM/GPRS terminal. The availability of the desired service and the 2G network at the installation site is agreed separately; the operability of the equipment does not create operator coverage. Switching to a different communication standard is not about replacing the power supply adapter and is not the subject of this technical guide.
