The designation JMA-3300 indicates a JRC series, so one line of JMA-3300 radar is not enough to compare two quotations or schedule a replacement on a ship. You need an accurate configuration and a list of transferred parts.
Series title and specific system
The JRC brochure lists the different models of the series and their corresponding scanners. The NCD-2182 display is shown separately from the antenna unit; different interblock cables are provided. Therefore, the screen photo and the overall name do not define the type of scanner, its configuration, or the length of the cable in a particular order.
In the application, specify whether a complete system or a replacement of a particular node is required. For existing radar, send display and scanner plates, connection designations, and cable details. The coincidence of appearance does not confirm the possibility of preserving the former parts. Based on these data, you can prepare a subject quotation and indicate which issues still require examination.
One report instead of guesses from the photo
Write down the main device, scanner, interblock cable, mounts and accessories in separate lines of the composition of one order. In each line it should be clear: a new part is supplied for this order, the current part is retained or clarification is required. Small fasteners and connections are better to coordinate inside the kit with the total final price, rather than collect random purchases.

As long as the configuration and composition are not fixed in the quotation, it cannot be considered the price of any configuration of the entire series. If you only need a display or other separate node, write this directly. Comparing with a complete set will not create a false difference in cost.
The cable is selected on the real route
For quotation, a diagram of the passage between the display location and the scanner, the measured length of the track and photographs of available inputs are useful. The distance in a straight line between the cutting and the mast does not describe all turns and passes. The desired length, type of cable and the ability to use the existing one are agreed for the selected configuration according to its documentation.
Separately tell us if the mounting places are available, how the power supply is organized and what work is planned for replacement. There is no universal installation scheme here: it depends on the equipment and conditions of the vessel. The principle of procurement is simple – everything without which the agreed set cannot be transferred for the intended work must be explicitly taken into account or attributed to the saved parts.
What external data is needed on the screen
List the instruments that are supposed to be used with radar and the functions you need. For the course source, for example, you need the exact name, available outputs and documentation of the connection. What to get before shipment
Coordinate the statement, condition of the proposed equipment, identification, documents and the scope of the inspection. To replace, divide the check of the received parts and the check of the system on the ship. Can I keep an old cable or compass?
