In our catalog, the ASH700 is proposed for the river direction of 300-336 MHz, and the CX-4 is proposed as the marine antenna of 156 MHz. Prior to purchase, it is necessary to determine which station and at what frequencies the new position should operate.
A river or sea route is a matter of equipment
There may be different means of communication on a mixed navigation vessel. The name of the ship does not explain the range of each. To replace the antenna, it is more useful to take the model of the installed radio and its operating frequencies than to choose the product only according to the words “river” or “sea” in the name of the store.
For example, the buyer is looking for an antenna for a river station from the range group 300-336 MHz, and the selection got a marine CX-4. Having a suitable place on the mast does not solve the issue of frequency. Such a substitution cannot be justified by the appearance of similarities or by the fact that both positions are called VHF antennas.
A short line of range does not replace a passport.
The designation “300-336” in the product title is the starting point of the search. It does not prove the characteristics of a particular antenna at each frequency between extreme numbers. When coordinating, the operating frequencies of the station are compared with the documentation of the proposed configuration.
Just as important is the exact designation of the family. The ASH700 cannot be automatically renamed as ASH-0.7 or ASH-700P and transferred to it other people's indicators. For CX-4, specific labeling is also confirmed. For example, the official CX4b sheet of AC Antennas refers to a specific configuration; the letter and code of the product have meaning, and a similar name does not yet identify the warehouse instance.
The connector answers only part of the questions
The physical ability to connect the cable does not prove the suitability of the antenna path for the operation of the station. In addition to frequencies, the parameters of the selected AFU, cable line and connection are considered. If the old line is retained, it is described separately from the purchase of a new antenna.
Conversely, the need for a different mount does not mean that you need to change the range. Installation location and electrical applicability are different choices. When adding a marine station to an existing river system, a new path should be provided by the project, rather than arising from the assumption that one externally suitable antenna will automatically solve both tasks.
How to choose a clear quotation
In the request, specify the station model, operating frequencies and what should remain from the previous installation. For ASH700, our card shows the price of RUB 25,000, for CX-4 - RUB 36,000. The composition of the cable, mounting, connectors and mounting is confirmed separately; catalog photography does not turn all visible details into unconditionally included accessories.
For delivery to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Astrakhan or another city, it is enough to add the point of receipt and the desired amount. For Kazakhstan, specify the country of destination and address. Such a request will allow you to get a quotation for your station and kit, without buying an antenna of the wrong range.

Questions before buying
Are the ASH700 and CX-4 interchangeable when both VHFs are?
That conclusion is wrong. First, the station operating frequencies are compared with the documentation of a particular antenna; the general name VHF is not sufficient.
Does the 300-336 label guarantee all performance at any frequency inside?
There’s no reason to just take it out of the header. The exact parameters and operating frequencies are confirmed by the documentation of the proposed configuration.
Are cables and installations included in the price shown?
Not automatically. The actual composition of the antenna and the necessary work are recorded in the quotation.
