AIS Tester AITS-RV: AIS Class A Technical Guide
AIS Tester AITS-RV A portable instrument for checking AIS class A marine stations without removing equipment from the board. It operates on AIS frequencies: channel 1, channel 2 and DSC channel 70. This scheme is required to be verified both operationally and annually, according to IMO Circular Letter MSC.1/Circ.1252.
What's checking?
The device controls the path of the station as a whole: the operation of the transmitter and its power, the state of the antenna and the interface.
